Planning a meal for your event? Use this guide to manage your guest counts, dietary needs, and deadlines with our catering team.
Booking Your Catering
To ensure high-quality service and ingredient availability, all catering requests are managed through the Office of Conference and Event Services.
- 14-Day Lead Time: Please finalize your menu at least 14 days before your event.
- Late Bookings: Any catering service booked within 14 days of the event date will incur a 25% late fee.
- Small Events: For groups of fewer than 10 people, please contact your Conference Coordinator for tailored menu options
Guest Counts and Guarantees
Our kitchen plans and purchases ingredients explicitly based on your provided numbers.
- Final Guarantee: Your final guest count is due one week before the event. This number is used for billing and cannot be reduced after the deadline.
- Menu Minimums: If your guest count is below the minimum required for a specific package, we will work with you to design a custom menu that fits your group size.
Cancellations and Changes
Because food and labor are prepared in advance, the following cancellation fees apply:
- More than 14 days notice: Full refund / No charge.
- 14 days to 48 hours notice: 50% of the total catering cost.
- Less than 48 hours’ notice: 100% of the total catering cost.
